This scholarship prioritizes lactation students within the state of Kentucky. Here at KLIC we recognize the importance of investing in our future lactation providers and are beyond thrilled to be able to offer scholarships for education, certification, and mentoring.

Membership is open to all who support & promote breastfeeding or aspire to learn more & connect with colleagues, including lactation care providers, students and advocates. We welcome all care providers who specialize in lactation regardless of their professional designation (the IBCLC designation is not a requirement)

Application

Please ensure to fill out the application in it's entirety. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Interview

After the submission period is over, the scholarship and mentor committee will review applications to set up interviews before deciding on scholarship recepients.

Requirements

We ask that before you fill out the application that you have done your research and have decided to pursue lactation.

If you are looking at education, what programs are you wanting to sign up for? If you are wanting to become certified, which exam are you needing the scholarship for? If you are wanting a mentor, do you have a primary mentor already? These are just a few questions we recommend you think through before filling out the application.

We are proud to offer four $500 scholarships for lactation certification exam fees or lactation specific educational programs.
